FREE DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENING
4 Pillars I 8 questions l Instant results l CDC 75th percentile
Every parent carries the same quiet question: "Is my child developing the way they should be?"
This free assessment gives you an answer — not a vague one, but a structured snapshot across the four pillars of development that matter most: Physical, Personal, Potential, and Purpose.
It takes under 5 minutes. It covers your child's specific age band. And it gives you instant results with a visual breakdown of each pillar — so you can see exactly where your child is thriving and where they might need a bit more focus.
It asks you 8 carefully selected milestone questions — two from each of the four developmental pillars — calibrated to your child's age. These milestones are drawn from the Zedek Tikkun Model and aligned to the CDC's 75th percentile standard (2022 revision). Your answers are scored with clinical weighting, meaning that critical milestones (like the presence of eye contact or first words) carry more weight than enrichment-level milestones.
This is not a clinical diagnosis. It is a developmental screening — a compass, not a verdict. If the results highlight any areas of concern, we'll tell you exactly what to do next and who to speak to. But no online tool can replace a face-to-face assessment by a qualified professional.
After completing the 8 questions, you'll see an instant visual dashboard showing your child's score for each pillar. If any Red Flag milestones are identified, they'll be highlighted with a specific recommendation. You can then enter your email to receive a more detailed breakdown — including recommended activities, resources, and next steps — sent directly to your inbox. Your information is protected under POPIA. We will never sell your data or share it with third parties.
After completing the assessment, you'll see a percentage score for each of the four pillars. Here's how to interpret them:
This means your child is meeting or exceeding the CDC's 75th percentile standard for their age band. Continue with intentional, play-based engagement and enjoy this season. The full Zedek assessment can give you age-specific enrichment activities to keep building on these strengths.
This is completely normal and very common. Development isn't a straight line — most children have areas of relative strength and areas that need more intentional attention. The detailed report sent to your email will include specific activities and resources for the pillars that need support.
If the assessment highlights a Red Flag milestone (marked in red), this is a signal that warrants a conversation with your child's paediatrician or a developmental specialist. Red Flag milestones carry high clinical significance — they are early indicators that benefit enormously from early intervention. This is not a diagnosis. It is an invitation to act early, when intervention is most effective.

It provides a useful directional snapshot — not a comprehensive assessment. Think of it as a developmental thermometer: it tells you if something needs attention, but it doesn't tell you exactly what's causing it. For that level of detail, the full 138-milestone assessment in the Zedek app is the right tool.

No. A low score on a quick screening is a signal, not a sentence. Many factors affect a single assessment — your child's mood, tiredness, recent illness, or simply the fact that they're at the younger end of their age band. If the results concern you, take the full assessment in the Zedek app for a more detailed picture, and discuss the results with your child's paediatrician.
The assessment covers children from birth to age 9, across 12 age bands: 0–3 months, 3–6 months, 6–12 months, 12–18 months, 18–24 months, 2–3 years, 3–4 years, 4–5 years, 5–6 years, 6–7 years, 7–8 years, and 8–9 years. You can take it for more than one child — after viewing results, tap "Start over with a different age" to assess another child.
