Shipping — Physical Products

All physical products (Zedek Wooden Stacking Rocks and future items) are shipped via The Courier Guy, South Africa's fastest-growing courier company. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and parcel size — the price you see is the price you pay.

How shipping is calculated

The Courier Guy calculates rates based on your delivery address, parcel weight, and parcel dimensions. You'll see the exact shipping cost at checkout before you pay — no surprises. All prices include VAT.

Order processing

  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM on business days are dispatched the same day.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM or on weekends/public holidays are dispatched the next business day.
  • You'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number once your order ships.

Tracking your order

Once dispatched, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Track your parcel in real time at thecourierguy.co.za.

Delivery attempts

The Courier Guy will attempt delivery to the address you provide at checkout. If nobody is available, they will attempt redelivery or hold the parcel at a nearby depot for collection. Please ensure someone is available during business hours.

Digital Products — Instant Access

Digital products (the Intentional Parent Masterclass, assessment tools, PDF guides) are delivered instantly after payment. No shipping required.

  • After purchase, you'll be redirected to your course access page.
  • A confirmation email with your login details will be sent within minutes.
  • Access is lifetime — there is no expiry on digital products.

Returns — Physical Products

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you're not, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Change of mind — 14-day return window

You may return any item within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the item is unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags, accessories, and documentation included.

Return shipping is at the customer's expense. We recommend using The Courier Guy or an insured courier service — Zedek is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Damaged or defective items — we'll make it right

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of the issue. We will arrange collection at our expense and either replace the item or issue a full refund — your choice.

Please do not discard the packaging until you've inspected the product.

Items that cannot be returned

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been used, assembled, or that show signs of wear beyond initial inspection. Digital products, gift cards, and downloadable items are non-refundable (except where the 14-day Masterclass guarantee applies).

How to return an item

Email us to request a return

Send an email to returns@zedekkids.co.za with your order number, the item you'd like to return, and the reason. If damaged, include photographs.

Receive your Return Authorisation Number

Within 1 business day, we'll email you a Return Authorisation (RA) number and instructions. Do not send items back without an RA number — returns without authorisation may be refused.

Pack and ship the item

Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Place it inside a shipping box (do not use the product box as the shipping box). Write the RA number on the outer box. For damaged/defective items, we'll arrange collection at our cost.

Inspection and refund

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund within 7–10 business days via PayFast to the original payment method.

Physical products

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of receiving the returned item. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3–5 business days to appear in your account.

Partial refunds: If a returned item shows signs of use, is missing parts, or is not in its original packaging, we reserve the right to issue a partial refund or decline the return. We'll notify you by email before making this decision.

Payment Methods

All payments are processed securely via PayFast, South Africa's most trusted payment gateway. PayFast is PCI-DSS compliant — we never see or store your card details.

How long will delivery take?

Metro areas (Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria): 2–3 business days. Other major cities: 3–4 business days. Regional and rural areas: 4–5 business days. Actual times depend on The Courier Guy's route schedule and may vary during peak periods.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, parcel weight, and dimensions. You'll see the exact cost before completing payment. All shipping prices include VAT.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once dispatched, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Use this on The Courier Guy's website (thecourierguy.co.za) to track your parcel in real time.

Do you deliver outside South Africa?

We currently only ship within South Africa. International shipping is on our roadmap for 2027. If you're based outside SA and interested in our products, email us at hello@zedekkids.co.za and we'll explore options on a case-by-case basis.

My item arrived damaged — what do I do?

Email returns@zedekkids.co.za within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the damage (including the packaging). We'll arrange a free collection and send a replacement or full refund — your choice. Please do not discard the packaging until the return is resolved.

Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?

We don't offer direct exchanges at this time. If you'd like a different product, please return the original for a refund and place a new order. This ensures the fastest possible turnaround.

How long does a refund take?
